Testing LR5.2 HDPRO and when the HDR photo is saved without enhancements as a 32-bit file in photoshop it sends a file back to LR5.2 but I cannot work on the file, the thumbnail is greyed out with a ! in the top right corner that displays "You will not be able to make adjustments to the photo" due to an error.

Am I missing a step, I followed the video instructions from Adobe TV.
Thanks
Andy

What file format are you saving it as? PSD perhaps? TIFF should work.

Why is it LR 5.2 cannot process the 32 Bit .PSD file?

Because that's not a supported format for 32-bit. Save it as a 32-bit TIFF and you'll be able to import it.

Thanks Victoria,

The problem was that the 'Default File type' in LR Preferences was set to .PSD. When I changed this to .TIFF it worked perfectly.

Which now begs the question - When are Adobe going to enable .PSD file to work like .TIFF files on their own software? :)
