Program: Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0
select edit: Error message.... Program was unable to load the necessary component and it's going to terminate. Reload your software.
My attempt: Reloaded software after uninstalling several times.
Asked GEEKSQUAD to help: Can't find a solution.

What is the exact error message?
What OS version are you using?

A TWAIN Data Source Message:
Program was unable to load the necessary component and it's going to terminate. Reload your software.

As shown when System was selected in Control Panel:
Windows 7 Home Premium (Service Pack 1)

Thanks for the interest

Failed to mention that I have ADOBE ACROBAT 9 PRO installed.
Could there be a conflict? Between the two ADOBE Programs?
I could not Install: Adobe Reader XI, it doesn't like Acrobat 9 Pro.

Take Care Chris

No, Acrobat and Elements don't share anything.

It looks like your scanner or camera driver is damaged - and just trying to load the TWAIN libraries (to get the list of available devices) causes the error.

Remove or repair your scanner or camera TWAIN drivers.
