I've been using Photoshop professionally nearly every day of the last 15 years, and here are what I think, are some things that could be good additions to the application, as far as Guides are concerned.

The ability to one-click select the area bordered by four guides (I know, slices can be used, but guides are just easier and faster), perhaps a "Select Within Guides" tool grouped with the Magic Wand/Quick Selection tools.

The ability to click on specific guides to toggle their visibility, without inadvertently moving their position.. Angular guides that can snap to specific angles could also be helpful...

Maybe some Guides Tools, listed as a drop-down, under the "Move Tool" or the "Zoom Tool", which appear to be the only tools without a drop-down sub-menu.

btw... I'm loving the PS CC, but what's with changing the "Image Size" shortcut from Alt-I-I to Alt-I-E, one letter doesn't seem like it would be that hard to adjust to, but after this many years, it seems my brain is hard-wired for Alt-I-I.
