Photoshop: Guides change position even after locking them

Hi people,

The guides in Photoshop keep changing position. Even when I lock them. It's only a few pixels here and there. But since you can move the guides around in increments of one tenth of a pixel, I don't think this should happen.

What happens exactly is this.

I have a photo that I want to put text in. Because these are photo's for a website (hero images), I want to put different text on different photos, but always in exactly the same place.

So, I determine the positions. I set the guides accordingly. I lock the guides. And I save the file.

Then I quit Photoshop.

When I open it the next time, and I check the position of the guides, they turn out to sometimes move a few pixels left or right. Not all the guides. But if I set like 7 guides, one or two of them will probably move out of position.

I measure this with Screen Ruler, as will as with my naked eye by magnifying my image to 1000%. Then I count the pixels that, for instance, make up a margin for the text. The count with the eye is consistent with the one of Screen Ruler. The guides, unfortunately, are not persistent.

By the way: when I lock the guides, and I save the file, and I switch Photoshop off and on again and open that same file: the guides will not be locked anymore.

Hope you can do something about this.
