All of the sudden my type tool stopped working, but I watched a video in help.adobe.com and the woman said if it worked to zip up the Tool preferences and send your way so you could see what was wrong with the file. Happy to send but I do not see how to upload on this site. Thrilled it worked, here is the video for anyone who has this problem!

You can upload any sort of file to www.dropbox.com and then include a public share link (for downloading the file) either, here in a reply, or in a private message of any person at Adobe you have been talking with, which if none, then just here.

Hey there,

You say your Type tool quit working.  What do you mean by that?  What happens when you try to use the Type tool?  What version of Photoshop are you running?  On which OS?  What other applications are you running at the same time?  How many fonts do you have on your system?

I'd be happy to help you solve this issue and those answers should really help.  I'm also available to do a web-hosted screenshare to help you get to the bottom of this.

Thanks,
David
