My graphics processor settings in Preferences/Performance were greyed out - couldn't get PS to recognize my 2mb video card.... I tried everything including regedit hacks, resetting preferences, updating drivers, etc., and the culprit was a nvidia control panel setting - My laptop has an integrated Intel video card and a Nvidia Quadro K2000M and after changing all sorts of settings for everything I finally changed the 'preferred graphics processor' to """ high- performance NVIDIA processor""" from "Auto Select" and now everything works. . Now all the 3D/Warp functions work again. Hopefully this helps someone - I searched everywhere for this solution, I would imagine I am not the only one running NVIDIA control panel with this setting conflict.
