My family and friends say that your site is very user unfriendly in that it is difficult to view pictures from my gallery. Everyone had difficulty getting into the gallery! I will be closing my account and repost my pictures on Picassa. I would expect a much better site from you as being Photoshop. You make too many hoops to jump through and it is difficult to understand what is needed to view pictures.

Would you be able to elaborate on this? What kinds of difficulties were encountered? Did you provide a link to your gallery and the images would not load? Did your friends and family visit your personal URL and not find any image galleries? It could be that you had your images secured so that no one but you could view them. Photoshop.com doubles as a photo sharing site, like Picassa, and a secure backup, like Iron Mountain. It is up to the settings you choose to allow others to view your images.

There should be step by step instructions on how to share photos from a gallery. If they are there, they are not easy to find. I, for example, didn't know what my "personal URL" was. I know know, but that should be explained on your site. I find Picasa easier to manage. Sorry for venting, but I had 4 family members who also said that they had problems. They also had difficulty locating the "full screen" icon.

To share your images, albums, or entire gallery, you can use the Facebook and Twitter links under where it says "Share this page:" while looking at the public facing side of Photoshop.com. When you are logged into your account and want to send someone an image or album, there is a Share button at the bottom middle of the Express Organizer.

Your Personal URL can be found by going to the My Account page (you can click on the Me tab on the home page to get there, as well as other locations).

I could provide screen shots if you like.

Never had such a problem sharing photos with friends... you didn't make your site user friendly that's for sure. Spend 2 hrs uploading and adding comments and share with friends and none received the photos album, only one photo they got. What a disappointment! Guess all I have to do is cancel my membership and find a more useful site.

Terrible site.

Sharing images on Photoshop.com involves sending your friends and family a link to either individual photos or albums. You do not actually send the images themselves.

If you send a link to a specific photo, another link from that page can be followed to your gallery and the rest of your images and albums.

What button are pressing to share?

Hi A T

As you are saying that recipients , whom you sent a mail to , have got one asset only , so I guess that you have used "Share Asset " option in bottom bar rather than "Share Album " option in Bottom Bar . With "Share Asset" option , user can share one asset and with "Share Album " option , all the assets in album . If you want to share multiple assets , you have to share whole album . Still if you are facing any issues , let me know .

What I am saying it is not user friendly. I am familiar with a lot of software applications, and can get info /help if I don't, but the peoples that I send the album to...some only got one photo, others got more than one, but it took them a while to get it going...etc. It could be a great site to share photos but it has to be made more friendly. Of all the friends I invited to join, only 2 did.. and I am not sure they will ever use it.

To be honest, I have a hard time finding my own photos on Ps.com. The interface changes regulary, and not often for the better.

Many people who receive an album from me think they've received just one picture. They struggle with getting slideshows to work. I do to, frankly.

The slideshow feature used be very nice, but the good slideshows have been taken away (looks like they're available for a fee...take a look at what other sites charge for. Real features not this stuff.)

And now they've reduced the size that photos will display at.

After waiting for a year for a measely 70K plugin for Lightroom to become available, I am now looking for another site to host my photos.

Hi Photographe,

We are trying to make your photos more accessible than in the past, but it does cause some changes. Any constructive feedback you have would be appreciated.

We have not made any changes to remove access to slideshow themes, and we have furthermore not done anything to cause the size of the photo being displayed to change. If you are still inclined, I'd be happy to hear more about the specifics, and provide any assistance.

Mark,

(i) When I first started using Ps.com, there was a great slideshow template where the photos moved around as if in a carousel. Now that is no longer free.

(2) The maximum size of a photo that can be displayed is is 1024 pixels on a side; too small.

This is true; I noticed that when I crop pictures the resolution drops, which is unheard of on other sites and even when Photoshop.com was in beta mode it worked fine.
