Lightroom 6/CC: In Develop module, I see a blue background, not my image (Riva Tuner issue)

When i select an image from grid mode and press 'D' to go into the develop module, instead of my image in the main area I get a blue background with a white cross through it.

I see all the develop tools on the right, like Basic, Tone Curve etc, but no image. Just the blue area!

Viewing the image full size (Loupe) in Library module is fine, but as soon as I try to Develop, boom, the blue screen with a white cross.

I feel I must have clicked something innocuous by mistake, but now I cant get back to normal.

This issue is a result of old/bad video driver or an unsupported graphics card.

First, if you're on windows, update your video drivers. Determine what video card you have and go *directly to the manufacturers website (nVidia or ATI/AMD)* and download the latest driver.

Just doing Windows Update won't give you the latest and greatest drivers. You must go directly to your card manufacturers website to check for driver updates.

If that doesn’t solve it, go to the Preferences in Lightroom and uncheck “Use Graphics Processor” under the Performance tab and restart Lightroom: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html
