Lightroom: Go backward or forward after deleting a picture

My D3100 is awesome : if I go backward and delete a picture, it shows me the previous one (according to time), and if I go forward and remove another one it goes to the next one.

Would it be possible to do it in lightroom ?

"Lightroom : when you delete a picture, go forward or backward in the photo strip according to the last direction you took".

Don't delete. When culling, mark them for future deletion. The hotkey is "x".

If you use shift-x, it auto-advances to the next one. So you can zip through a pile, rating and culling as you go.

When done, go back to All Photographs and do a Photos -> Delete Rejected Photos...

As an idea, rather than a request for a workaround, it would be good to have.

Would be smart for Lightroom to do like that.

You can as well just sort your pictures in a descending order, then go forward. It's the same as going backwards.

Not really. Something more flexible would be great. You can go backward, delete three picture, go forward again for a few pic, etc etc. on my camera this is really a great feature and I found it quite easier to sort my pictures on my camera with HDMI connected to a TV rather than on my computer because of this.
