Photoshop: Global Colour Swatches across CS suite

Now that there are so many vector-based tools in photoshop, it would be great if we could have global colour swatches as there are in Illustrator.

Example use : when creating web comps it would make it easy to globally change the colour used to signpost interactions, whether in text or vector shapes (buttons)

that would only be possible for vector shapes (and I've changed the title for that), since tracking the source of pixel colors would be a little extreme.

Thanks for the reply. Absolutely, I understand that it would only work for vector shapes. For the UI work I do these days I use bitmap layers very little - it's all vector shapes, layer effects, vector text and photos as smart objects.

I totally agree with this! I'm also using Photoshop mainly for UI interfaces, and the lack of Global Color function is an extreme downside for me. Please introduce this ASAP, of course for vector only would be perfect!
