In the new version of LightroomCC (2015 Release), when I go to view "Before" images, which I do frequently, the screen momentarily glitches and flashes the first time I do so on a given image.

I am not seeing on Mac or PC.

Can you share your OS, Machine Specs, etc?

OS X, 10.10.3, 27" iMac Late 2013, Nvidia GTX 775M.

It only happens with graphics acceleration turned ON. If I turn it off, it seems to work normally.

I managed to get a screenshot by recording a video and pulling the still out. So this is what it looks like.

I'm also having this issue.

Whenever I press the \ key to view the original image while in the Develop module, the workspace temporarily goes grey just before the original image is displayed. If I press \ a few times it will eventually switch between the two quite quickly, but still with a slight glitch.

I am running OS X 10.10.3 on a 2012 Retina MacBook Pro, 2.6GHz Quad Core i7, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD.

Windows 7, Home Premium, 8 GB RAM, i5 processor, standard 22 inch monitor. I don't see that little glitch.

It's a known bug, and is presumably being worked on.

It only seems to happen on OSX, though there seems to a different issue on some Windows systems (specifically using the backslash key on a selected image, there's a brief flash of the last selected image). I'll log a bug report for this.

The 'different issue' is also reported here by Benjamin Root.
Still present in Lr 6.5, very annoying. Is indeed only present when GPU enabled. I do have a current Windows 10 environment.
Is there a reference to the bug report?

Just to add to my comment above, if I disable GPU acceleration I don't have this issue. It's only when GPU acceleration is enabled. My laptop has an Nvidia GeForce GT 650 M in it.

Sorry, yes I should have mentioned that it's a GPU-related bug.

And the problem still happens. In my case it actually flashes the last image the first time you click Before/After... then the function works properly until you go to the next pictures.
Windows 10 Pro with 32GB ram. AMD Radeon R9 270 Display adapters.

Here is a video of the glitch. Move to next picture and click on "Before" a couple times. The first time always flashes the previous picture for a split second... then the "Before" works.

Frustrating... editing hundreds of pictures the GPU acceleration from the video card really makes a big difference.

I am having a glitching issue using the backslash key \ to go before and after and view the images.  It's changed how I view these because it's so dramatic.  My glitch takes the whole image away and flashes.  Then after one time of that, it will change somewhat normally.

This is very irritating.  I have a high performance computer with an excellent graphics card.  So I have been hoping Adobe is working on a fix.
