Subject: Genealogy File Name save “Option”.
In my Genealogy folder I have 55 Subfolders. In the 55 subfolders I have more then 1500 pictures.
Since I need a “TimeLine” for my Genealogy pictures, I have placed a sequence number at the beginning of each file name (001 etc). I have loaded the pictures into Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and edited the pictures. (It is a very good program). I then change the file name to 101 etc. and save the edited picture back to the external folder.
I am getting ready to make a DVD of the TimeLine pictures through Adobe. Adobe will not let me input to Adobe with the File Name. Scan date for a 1918 picture will not let me place the picture in the proper Genealogy “TimeLine”. Scan dates and camera picture dates will not give me the “TimeLine” that I need. My folders and subfolders all sort by the File Name, so I assumed that Adobe would also allow me to do the same. It does not.
Please have your software people apply the “File Name input Option” to your Adobe program. I really don’t want to look for another program since your program works so well. Please let me know when this new Option will be added. Hopefully by this June 1st
Thank you very much. Sincerely, Bernard Sherman
I noticed in the Forum that someone else was looking for something like this Option.

First: which application are you using? And which version?

Adobe is a corporation, not an application.

Hi Chris,
When will this option become available? If not I think that NERO will be able to do the job for me.
Thanks for your assistance. Sincerely, Bernard
