PHOTOSHOP CC 2015.1 - Generate Image Assets from Artboard Documents

Photoshop 2015.1 does not output Generate > Image Assets when multiple Artboards are used to generate Website Assets from one Photoshop document.

A seemingly brilliant feature unhinged by the first hurdle.

If you convert individual Artboard to a Smart Object. Open the Smart Object and then Save As a new Photoshop document and then turn on Generate > Image Assets... boom assets created. That is a terrible workaround but it does work and proves that the correct Image Asset syntax has been used.

Please make it so that multiple artboard documents can export Image Assets. Each artboard should also store it's assets in a new directory automatically. This would be a massive productivity enhancer.

This problem solved itself after hours of doing workarounds.

In the end it was a simple as closing the document and opening it again.

Photoshop 2015.1 seems to "give up" making Image Assets after a while of use but reopening the document gives it a kick.
