Greetings Adobe.
This has been asked for years(at least 4 years ago) on your forums but for some reason, it's still unavailable in Photoshop v21.
Anyway, I leave this as a recall for the feature.
This tool(Painting Assistant tool) is a feature that would help artists and all other Photoshop users to paint with various kinds of rulers with their current brush in an easier and more efficient way.
The different rulers could be :

-Perspective rulers(up to three vanishing point that could be set)
-Ellipse ruler
-Parallel line rulers
-Radial lines ruler
-Fixed Angle line
-etc

To inspire you for the feature design, you can check the following links :

2.https://docs.krita.org/en/user_manual/painting_with_assistants.html

We're counting on you for a near future implementation of this. Thanks for taking the feedback into account.

I'm a bit lukewarm about this idea.

From the many grizzles I see about problems getting what Photoshop does already to be reliable, this might just invite more problems.  I'd like Adobe to make Photoshop reliable first and think about enhancements later.  Yes, I know that I'm being a bit hypocritical, I have asked for an enhancement to the tools used to eradicate spots and splats and scratches.

There are a couple of other issues that make me lukewarm.

If krita already does the job, then this can't be more than a "me too" function within Photoshop.

Maybe this extra functionality is available as an AddOn to Photoshop.
Or should be available as an AddOn, not buried into the main product.

Adobe already sell a huge suite of other artistic tools.  Maybe this functionality is already within one of those or would fit better into one of those than into Photoshop.

On the other hand, I'm only lukewarm, not super anti, and if Adobe want to do it and can do it, then I won't grizzle.

I agree that they should optimize Photoshop's entire performance so that it runs way more faster and smoother in general(about 3 times faster than the current version).
There are flaws and hidden bugs/issues that made Photoshop crazily slower to perform/execute.
