Bridge CC 2018: Full Screen Preview Greyed Out on MacBook Pro

I am running Adobe Bridge CC 2018 build 8.1.0.383 on a 2018 MacBook Pro 15 inch running OS Mojave build 10.14.3 with a Radeon Pro 560X 4096 MB video card.

This is a new machine for me and I have just started a Bridge project when I noticed that pressing the Space Bar no longer provides a preview. Furthermore, the "Full Screen Preview" menu item under "View" is greyed out.

Is there a solution to this either to fix this on my machine or an update fix that Adobe is working on?

Thank you all.

I intermittently, but very frequently, have that problem on my El Cap machine running 2018. In my case, the Bridge window becomes inactive, but nothing more than that happens.  I haven't had it happen once on 2019 running High Sierra. Is there a reason you don't want to update to 2019? I know that Mojave does have a fair few problems reported with Adobe products, but I haven't heard anyone with Mojave say Bridge in particular has a problem. It might at least be worth trying.

And no, they won't update 2018 with a bug fix. That's not been Adobe's policy.

No, David, all the application elements are local on the MacBook Pro. For some reason, the problem does not occur in Bridge CC 2019 - so I just stopped using CC 2018 (which I should have done anyway, I just did not know it had been updated).

Both versions have some unfortunate bugs. Adobe has kind of shot themselves in the foot with ill-advised changes.
