Lightroom: Does not work properly with the Fuji XT-3

Lightroom does not work properly with the Fuji XT-3. I am due to pay the yearly$119 but at this point will not renew as LR doesn’t work the same with my XT-3 as it did with my D500. I believe I have several months left before renewal and will purchase another brand that works with Fuji. Sadat I have mastered the portions of LR and PS that I need but poor results with my new camera. It appears that Adobe doesn’t care about the Fuji market.

I believe this has been acknowledged by Adobe. It is expected that it will be rectified in an upcoming update. Adobe will not provide any estimate as to when that update will be made available.

No one knows when an update will be available. If it’s before my rewal is due I may stay but if not before I will move on.

Hi Al, what is the specific issue you're referring to? Is a problem with White Balance? https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/wb-and-tint-problems-with-fuji-x-t3-and-lr-cl...

My raw pictures look good needing very little tweaking when I downloaded from my Nikon D500. The XT-3 raw photos don’t look the same when opened in LR. They look great when opened in Silkypix or Fuji Raw but washed out in LR. I didn’t even try the lens adjustment as I wasn’t happy with the un processed file. The Fuji is capable of beautiful colors but not in LR without extra work. I know I can shoot in Jpeg and get good results but have always used raw. I didn’t touch WB as I read it throws the tint way off.

From everything i’ve read It appears that this issue with Adobe and XTrans is not new. I just saw a response from 2014. It’s obvious that Adobe is in no rush to fix the Fuji problem so I’ve decided to find a more responsive and superior software now. It’s a waste of my time to wait as I can begin a new learning process. Adobe will pay attention if enough people leave., Money talks.
