Fuji X-Pro2 Compressed RAW files acting up in Bridge/Camera Raw

I am a wedding photographer and I just shot my first full Fujifilm wedding with the X-Pro 2. Obviously I opted to shoot compressed RAW files to save myself on space. Up to this point I had only shot uncompressed for my landscape work. Shame on me for forgetting to test beforehand, I know. But i ran into some problems in Bridge. It took FOREVER for bridge to generate thumbnails of the RAW files. It was around 2,000 files. But it took close to 7 hours just to generate all of the thumbnails for me to go through and make my initial picks. Then, after making selections down to about 500 files, I went through and edited in ACR, and it took another 4 hours or so for the files to update and show that they had Camera RAW settings applied to them. At one point, about 1/4 of the images didnt show that they had any settings at all because bridge froze while generating thumbnails, and i had to close it out and restart my computer to get it going again.

I realize that the RAW format is brand new and will take some time to refine. And maybe its just the nature of compressed RAW files. I never have shot compressed until this point. But I'm hoping that eventually the handling can be sped up and refined.
