Frustrated user of CS6 and resizing images.

Love the tutorial on resizing an image in CS6, but it ended right at the point where I needed help the most! It said in the next tutorial, but no link to the next one. I need to learn how to resize an image to exact dimensions, say a 4x6, but the image when constrained is off, say 4 x 6.344. I can't figure out how to get rid of the extra dimension to make it a true 4 x 6. Is there a follow-up tutorial on this subject? Thanks!

If you want the image to be exactly 4x6 inches, then you must have exactly a 2:3 aspect ratio. That means that the image you referred to will have to be cropped. Otherwise, image would become distorted.

Look up (and use) the crop tool, that will allow you to preserve the aspect ratio of the content, while ending up with the image size you desire.
