Problem: Frequent Forced Closed.

I don't know why but everytime I design some large files or even pressing "T" for editing text, suddenly Photoshop immediately forced closes. I usually edit around 3 MB of PSD files.

It's irritating since a lot of times it forced closes, a lot of edits will disappear and only a fraction of my edit re-appears after I open it again.

My Photoshop on my old Intel laptop works even better than my work laptop.

What does the crash report say the faulting module is?

I would start by troubleshooting fonts: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

I checked and I haven't seen a failed status on the log.

I don't have any open tab and recently it just shutdown on its own.

After checking, it's not only Type Tool, even when opening a new PSD or using the Brush on a Selected Area causes sometimes a crash.

Again, we need the details from the crash report.
