Every time I start Bridge CC the app crashes within a few minutes. Very frustrating indeed. Bridge CS 5 works fine....

Are you sending in the crash reports to Adobe?

Hello Chris, I've been looking for a crash report button. Can't find it yet. Crashes happen on my Mac Mini as on my MacBook Pro as well....

regards,
Joost

The crash report button is in the crash report dialogs (one for Apple, followed by one for Adobe).

Hello.

Bridge CC crashes for me, regularly, about 2 minutes after I open it the first time between Mac startups. This "misbehavior" is pretty consistent.

My Mac is a Mac Pro 2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon; RAM: 14 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC: Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB; OS: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

This is the only App that crashes on my Mac.

Other than that, Bridge works well. This means that it runs like a half asleep, tired 25 year old dog trying to fetch a bone called "Cache": The slowest App EVER created by Adobe. Photoshop 1.0 running on a 1990 Mac Classic was zippier ...

The crash reports start like the one I copy below:

OK, so it's crashing in the Dicom format plugin, probably on a specific file or UI.

Do you always browse to a folder that contains Dicom files?

Try with Photoshop CC and see if those files are still a problem.
And if you have specific files that cause the crash - send a copy to Adobe.

I'm not sure I understand what you suggest. Try what with Photoshop? The files do open fine if that's what you mean.

That's odd - the same crash should be happening when opening the files in Photoshop.
