Free Trial of Lightroom CC doesn't have the develop module?

I just downloaded the free trail of LR CC and am frustrated to find the capabilities have been pulled back for free users. I'd like to see the full host of editing capability but I don't have anything that is featured in the tutorial videos.

Below is a picture of my nav bar. As you can see, I only have File, Edit, Photo, View and Help. I have no access to Develop which is where I want to play around. I even tried to the shortcut to see if I could circumnavigate it that way but nothing appeared.

Could someone advise if this is correct or if the additional features can be accessed another way? I don't see the point in this as-is, RawTherapee has way more functionality than this free version of LR CC.

You need to click the icon at the top of the right toolbar. :-) The set up is slightly different to Classic.

Hi Andrew, thank you for the reply. I can see all of those tools on the right-hand side but what I'm missing is the Develop module. A secondary response points out that I may not have downloaded the right free trial. Thank you again!

If you're looking for the trial version of the application that has "the full host of editing capability", you've downloaded the wrong thing. Lightroom CC is the all-new cloud-centric application, which is probably not what you expected. Instead, you need the trial version of Lightroom Classic CC, which is the latest version of the desktop-centric Lightroom application that you're likely more familiar with from those video tutorials.

Thank you very much for the response Jim. I think you've pinpointed the issue exactly and I'll move forward with downloading the classic version for trial.
