the idea is simple, when you have a selection and want to do a free transform on several layers at the same time, now its not possible :(

I posted an idea about the same thing! It's super annoying to not be able to do. I could have sworn I was able to select and free transform multiple layers in Photoshop 2018. Was this never a thing, am I tripping?

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Photoshop Free Transform: multi-layer free transforming with lasso-specified pro....

As of now, Photoshop does not allow users to free transform an area with lasso-specified toggle points when multiple layers are selected simultaneously. Users can only free transform a lasso-selected area on one layer at a time, and not multiple layers with the lasso-specification in tact. I think it would be great if Photoshop was updated to have such capacity.
