If a text layer gets scaled using Free Transform, and then you copy that scaled text, and paste it into a new text layer, the formatting is completely bugged. It's a totally different size. Been happening for ages. Please fix.
I'm curious what you mean when you say that "the formatting is completely bugged."
It is true that when you copy text that's been transformed, the point size doesn't always come across right, particularly at different resolutions. That's an architectural issue, in part because you're NOT dealing with scaled text, but rather with text that's been transformed, just like if you take a raster image and transform it (though we're way more accurate, obviously). We do our best to "fix things" for user, figuring out what point size they appear to want, but since the user workflow around this functionality has become more complex and bifurcated, we don't always get it right. That said, for all other text attributes, there should be no problem.
