Fonts always jump back to top when trying to arrow down through the list

This is kind of hard to explain but when I have a text layer selected and then i try to cycle through the fonts in the list to see which one I like, I use the arrow keys up and down to go through them. However it keeps restarting at the top of the list whenever I do this. If I started in the S's for fonts and tried to cycle, it would cycle back to the A's again and start over. Any ideas on why this is happening? This happens in the top toolbar but not in the character panel. If you click on a text layer and then highlight the font name in the character panel, you can use the arrow keys to cycle through fonts without it jumping back to the top of the list. However with the top toolbar (the context sensitive one), if you highlight the font and do the same thing with arrow keys it always jumps back to the top of the list after a few arrow downs.

Howdy Alex,

Are you on Win or Mac?  What version of Photoshop are you running?  I ask cuz we USED TO have a bug like that, but I believe it was fixed about a year ago or more.  Are you sure you're running a recent version of the application?

Thanks,
David
