When I first launch Photoshop, all the font menus are fine...that is, the menu you choose to select the font style you want shows only one item for each of the available font styles...i.e. regular, italic, bold, etc.
However, after working for awhile, suddenly everything slows down BIGTIME, and I notice that now the font style menu is HUGE....with MULTIPLE selections for each of the styles...i.e. 3 or more regular, italic, bold etc....and sometimes as many as 10-15 different choices for each of the styles. Egads!!
Does anyone know what is happening here? It's very annoying and requires me to either bear with the major slowdown or restart the application. I keep thinking it has something to do with having Monotype SkyFonts installed in order to use Google fonts, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to get rid of it in my computer, so there's no way to test to see if this is the problem.
If anyone has any insight into this issue, I would be very grateful for some guidance that might help me resolve it.
Thanks.
