Folders in Develop Mode

I might work in a strange way to some. But I only use collections for my final images. So therefore I would love to have the "folder" hierarchy visible in the develop mode.

The reason for me doing this is because I organize my images on a folder level. This way (god forbid) if my Lightroom Library gets corrupted, Lightroom gets discontinued, or for some reason I decide to use another application, I won't loose the fundamental organization of my images.

I really see this as an easy addition to make since there's already the ability to customize the panels in the different modes. The default could be that the folders are not visible in the develop mode unless you deliberately switch it on by right clicking and enabling it.

Please hit that like button If you would not mind this feature!

It would be helpful. I didn't think of it until you mentioned it, but yes, I spend a lot of time switching from Develop to Library mode just to get to the folder list.

The bar at the bottom, just above the filmstrip, shows recent folders when you click on it. I wonder if there's a possibility to modify that info window to allow viewing all folders. Just an idea.

I organize my library the exact same way and I couldn't agree with you more.

This is so true. No reason why Folder and Collection sections shouldn't be available at Development Module as in Library Module. Default to HIDE but enable people to show them when it fits their workflow. I would use it as well.

Yes, absolutely this would be great! The way it is now is a PIA.
