folder location does not update in library - folders view

After using the OS to move a project folder to (external) archive drive , I attempt to 'find missing folder' or 'update photo location' in LR to update the folder location in the database.  [Find missing folder > select moved folder/files > Choose]. The dialog box closes. The folder has not been updated in the library 'Folders' panel. When i attempt the action again, I am told the files already exist in the library. So it has moved, but the library view has not updated. Quit lightroom and return, and the folders panel has been refreshed to reflect the move.

I first reported this issue in previous versions of LR, but as of 2015.10 (April 2017) the bug persists.

On occasion while archiving several projects at once, because the library does not reflect the updates, i trip over the these 'ghost' folders and mis-assign locations or repeat the action on folders already moved. For that reason, this is more of a workflow annoyance than a critical issue. Nonetheless i humbly request that either this bug be put to rest, or a 'refresh' option be added to the folders panel to avoid mis-associating folders or having to restart LR after each action.

A video of this bug available here:

I watched your video and cannot duplicate your results. Have you reset your preference file anywhere along the way? I would recommend that as a first step in troubleshooting.

Close Lightroom
Hold down [opt]+[shift] while relaunching Lightroom.
Overwrite the preferences when prompted.
Close Lightroom

Does that have any effect on the behavior?
