To whom can I plead that Lightroom please include a plug-in so can see the FOCUS POINTS of photos while editing?

If you are using Nikon, Canon or some Sony this supposedly works although not while editing.  I have never tried it as it find knowing which focus points were used is useless to me.

I think Robert's link is broken but may have been pointing you to this - http://www.lightroomfocuspointsplugin.com/. Not used it myself.. there's also another called focus mask.

Thank Jerry.  That is the link I intended to put in my reply but forgot to do it.  I think I spent too long this morning in the 95degree heat.

Mark, Jerry and Robert: Thanks for your responses! However...can't find anything on "focus masking." Also, I used the "Focus Points" plugin (your link above) in 2019 with my Canon 80D. BUT, doesn't work in 2020 with my new Canon 90D.

Seems that Chris Reimold (the creator) has never updated or may be out of business. He's never answered any of the many emails I've sent through his website.

When it did work...was great! I could use it to see on any image where my original focal points were. A great learning/feedback tool! Don't know why Lightroom doesn't have such a function built in, OR why they don't pay/buy Chris to keep current.

Anyone know of alternative methods?

I haven’t even installed it in years but the Canon DPP (digital photo professional) software does this foe the 90d

I've just updated my old focuspoints plugin as in the instructions from the link posted by Jerry. It works fine as far as I can see. I am having problems with my eyes, so I find this plugin useful. This update works much better than its predecessor.
