Just updated to RAW 9.5 and Lightroom 6.5 and I'm experiencing the problem in both apps.

Whenever I make a change (exposure, contrast, highlights, blacks etc.) the image flickers. So there's no smooth transition, it just jumps around constantly from bright to dark and back again. It does end up with the correct result once I'm done but it's very difficult to see what I'm actually doing while doing it.

Does the flicker show if you turn off the GPU acceleration in the user preferences? Does the flicker happen on all photos? Did the problem show in RAW 9.4 and Lr 6.4?

A number of people on the other forum have reported flickering in 2015.5 / 6.5 that goes away after disabling the GPU, e.g.

Victoria: Not a LUT profile :-)
Simon and John: The problem only appears in the new versions. The GPU thing seems to work in Lightroom but the problem is still there with camera RAW.

I went into the Photoshop preferences to turn it off - does that affect the RAW app as well?
