You can see a preview of the effect in the filter dialog, but when you click OK the image doesn't change after you exit the Filter?

Just about the entire digital art class can not access the Filter Gallery in CC Photoshop! About 1 out of 9 students can access the filter gallery, the rest cannot. We have tried a number of things, including using Preferences...but even "turning on" the filter gallery history and extensions panel doesn't all!

Please address this issue, Adobe!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Filter Gallery not working.

When I go into "filter gallery" instead of the small thumbnails showing on the screen with all the various filters, I am getting ONE filter showing (on the right of the image,) with boxes that are labeled "ok" and "cancel" (then the sliders underneath.) When I try to use the filter on the image, nothing is happening. How do I get it back to where it was, and working?
