I cannot apply CS6 filter gallery. Whenever I try to apply a filter it just closes the filter gallery panel and says (German): Der Vorgang konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden. (English something like: Process could not be finished.)
It‘s a brad new installation of Photoshop CS 6 and I have just updated to 13.0.1
Please help – thanks!

Hi,
I solved the problem (by following a suggestion for Photoshop CS5):
The font Arial.ttf was deactivated on my comuter. And Photoshop seems to need this font to function properly. After having reactivated the font the filter gallery worked immediately.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
There remains one question: Why does Photoshop require such an ugly font to work properly? And why does Photoshop require a font at all to work properly with the filter galelry?

Possibly because Arial is one the default Windows fonts that is always supposed to be available.
I don't think Filter Gallery actually uses that font, but it may be the default for some OS UI initialization code.

Which OS version are you using?
