It could be great (yet simple) feature to add.
(JDI, anyone?)

It isn't comfortable at all to navigate and find the entry you want to edit there.
A nice search box can solve this issue.

Howdy Matan,

I want to make sure I understand your request. Are you suggesting that we add a text box for users to locate the command they want to set a shortcut for?

Thanks,
David

Yes, exactly. For example, if I want to locate the "New.." command, I'll just start typing "Ne" and it will filter the entries.

In that case you're just asking for autocompletion, not a filter/search feature.

Not really. I do want a filter / search, in my example I meant that when I type "Ne" all the commands with "Ne" somewhere in their name will appear in a list.

I need this feature very badly. your only way to replace a shortcut is to navigate to the proper menu in hopes that you find it.  Illustrator has it. Premiere has it. are they better than us???
