In Ps 21.1.2 "Filter Gallery" is not working properly. In the previous version was not either. It turns everything to black, as you can see in the image.

P.S.: Resseting background and foreground colors didn't work. I am positive this is a bug.

christoph pfaffenbichler, I can't find your reply here, but I received it on my email.

I tried what you suggested (turning off »Use Graphics Processor«) but it didn't work.

I'm talking about any filter from »Filter Gallery«. You will notice that the filter does "work", you can see the texture being applied. But for some reason it's all black.

Here are some screenshots that might help you understand what's going on. My Ps is in portuguese though.

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

You seem to have stacked a lot of Filters. Can you remove them and start over to see which one causes the issue?

I was also wondering why the Filter Gallery was always giving me a B&W result, and I see now that I also had a second filter layer and when I clicked a new effect I was (of course) only changing the top-level filter. Seems like this sort of condition could be automatically cleared, with a new session providing a clean slate. Maybe provide a way for some people to save their favorite sets of filters, but generally for me I always want to, and expect to, start working on a new image with a new filter.

Can you apply your Filter Gallery to a Smart Object layer and post the PSD so we can dissect/troubleshoot your settings?
