Hey all! Not sure if this is a feature already or there's some other way of getting at this, but basically I'm working on building up my catalog from a backlog of many years of existing photos. At first I tried working folder by folder in order to assign keywords, working in multiple passes within the same folder assigning different sets of photos within each folder relevant keywords. However, while this was thorough, I found it to be incredibly time consuming.
So I went with Peter Krogh's suggestion of creating a filter for un-keyworded photos and working in sets and broad categories from there. This is speeding up the process significantly. Howeva! I would like to be able to come back through and refine this; for example, I may decide one set of studio portraits is best tagged with "studio", but in this workflow all the photos disappear from the filter set once one tag has been assigned.
I was wondering if there would be some way (if this is a plugin or there's a workaround or even implementing this as a feature) to add a "number of keywords" option to the filter bar. That way, once I finish assigning one keyword to all the photos in my catalog, I can start the process over with all the photos that only have one keyword and work from there.
This would also help assigning more specific keywords to a photo that only has what is now a parent level tag. For example, I tagged some photos with just my home city, but then as tagging went on I added many more specific tags. I'm having a hard time finding the photos with just the parent level tag that could be more specific.
Would love to hear y'alls thoughts on this!
