When I try to open two images  in Camera Raw it does not supply the filmstrip, therefore I am not able to bring them into Photoshop and overlay the images.  If someone knows how to get the film strip to appear (there are no handles to pull) or what I need to do to be able to overlay and align the images in Photoshop, I'd appreciate the help...Thanks...Bruce

I have the same thing. Work around: If I drag my selected pictures from a folder (from the Windows Explorer)  to my canvas it works..., the pictures will open in the filmstrip of ACR. I agree It should work with the startworkspace aswell! It can be done from Bridge also!

I sure hope this reaches you, Mr. or Ms. Smallenbroek.  I initially tried your suggestion without success, but I pulled the files onto a canvas that was occupied by the "recent files" and advertisements that PS CC uses as a startup screen.  I decided to try a totally blank canvas, and your suggestion worked just as it was supposed to.  Thank you so much!!  Bruce

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Camera Raw: Opening multiple RW2 Files one at a time.

I have a Panasonic Lumix LX100. When I open the files in Photoshop CC they only open one at a time. I'm not getting the long strip of photos on the left side of Photoshop like I do when opening CR2 files. Anyone have advice? Thanks.
