Photoshop: Fill command feature idea - "from clipboard"

The current "fill command" (Edit-->fill) has option for foreground , background colors, pattern, black, white and gray ...
Many times, one need to fill with a texture or a "pattern"
That requires to copy the patterns, DEFINE a new pattern, and then use it .
Why not add a feature "From clipboard" ? - this will enable to quickly fill an area with pattern, without saving and defining it each time (which also create too many patterns in the library ,especially for temporary patterns..
The option could be at the main "fill menu" or a check-box at the "pattern" options...
See image for details..

This is a good idea I have added it as a feature request.

This is something I always missed in Photoshop and would've often a use for. Btw. good old Deluxe Paint was able to do that :)
