It seems to be impossible to import .pdf files with a resolution of 600dpi (or higher) that are longer than 135,46cm. Is that true or a problem of my PhotoShop version (2015)?

I need to edit an image with a length of 150cm and a height of 20cm with a resolution of 600dpi or higher.

How can I import such files?

I can reproduce the issue.
Can you place the pdf as a Smart Object in a file with the correct dimensions and resolution, though?

Thanks! I placed the pdf as a Smart Object in a file with the correct dimension and resolution. It took some time but it worked. Then I wanted to save the new file as pdf, which didn't work.

After that I created a new file with the correct dimension and resolution without adding the Smart Object and again I couldn't save the file as .pdf.

Any ideas how I could save it as .pdf?
