Files get corrupted in PS CC.

My files keep getting corrupted while I'm working in PS CC. The file ends up looking glitchy, parts of layers are missing, and images are repeated in rainbow colors. I tried re-installing Photoshop, and it seemed to work fine for a bit, but now it's doing it again. I couldn't find a clear answer for why it's doing this; I checked for bad RAM, but it's fine on my computer. Any suggestions?

What OS version are you using?
Have you tried disabling the GPU rendering in Photoshop, then restarting Photoshop? (to see if the problem is with your video card driver)

OS 10.9.5.

I deselected 'Use Graphics Processor' in the Performance section of Preferences. Is that what you meant? (Just an fyi, my graphics processor is NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256MB).

My file still is corrupted, others are okay. I think I won't know if that did the trick until I start working again in PS, and I'm a bit wary of doing that right now, since I have important work to do. (Using a different program in the mean time.)

Thanks for responding so quickly to me!

Yes, that is what I meant. If corruption happens with that off, then the cause is something we don't know about. Most of the cases of corruption we see are just video card drivers drawing the image incorrectly, or a system problem (bad RAM, bad VRAM, bad disk drive, etc.).

But MacOS 10.9.5 did introduce some video driver bugs for NVidia GPUs on certain laptop models (sorry, I don't have the full list here at home).
