File re-naming: Starting sequence number must be +ve integer in the range 1 to 100,000,000

This is a relatively minor issue with re-naming when sequence numbers are involved: the starting  number must be +ve integer in the range 1 to 100,000,000.

I have, for example, a collection of images of the pages of a book (it is the index of the family genealogy). Every page, including the cover and all of the enclosing 'fluff' pages are included. I want the sequence numbers of the pages which contain the actual index to start at 1 and end 200+ later. I want the pages which precede those pages to start at whatever 'pre-positive' value is required so that 1 falls on the first index page. But I can't do that. The re-name dialogue will not accept any non-positive value.  This, of course, includes zero and that omission seems very odd to me. Perhaps the lower limit should be -100,000,000.

While I'm here I will reiterate my request for a renaming function which matches the renaming available in Bridge most especially the Regex functionality.
