File Folder say 0 while the sub folder all contain images

When I went to collapse my folders which have subfolders with images in them and then expanded them the folders registered zero images though the subfolder have images.  What is the best way now to fix the problem

Go to Library menu > Show Photos in Subfolders.

Wow, that worked like a charm.  I was worried that the catalog was totally corrupted and I have missed backing it up for the past week.

I like it to say 0 when there are no photo files inside and all the individual subfolders are expanded. When collapsed, it might say xx folders (yyy files) and count all photos in the subdirs.
