Feedback – “you can purchase Adobe Customer Support”... so we don’t get ANY Adobe Customer Support unless we purchase it ?!! – I couldn’t get any when I tried your trial period!!.. So you have 2 problems, for which I would never purchase your PS until they’re corrected: 1. – you have NO Adobe Customer Support.. – as I called 877-687-1520 and was just put on hold for houurs till I just gave up!! And 2. Your PS is not at all user-friendly!!.. as I tried to follow youir instructions for layering to combine photos to add a person to a pic., but it wasn’t clear instructions [ is the base pic = layer 1 or 0?, how do I add the 2nd layer,... etc.]..!

Dave, I understand your frustration. I've been working with PS for over five years and yet there's functions I have and might never use.  Photoshop is an extremely complex program to use, I'll bet even the writers haven't used all aspects of it.

If you are just beginning I would suggest going to youtube and viewing a video on using layers to get a grasp of how PS works.

It's like me going out and buying an f16 and told to jump in and fly it. I would even know how to sit in it.

Sorry to hear that you haven’t fallen in love with using Photoshop .

Have you learned about the Workspaces and how to customize them yet? That’s one way to make sure that you’re only seeing the tabs necessary for how you work.

Adobe Support is included with the subscription, but it’s just for making sure that your software is installed correctly.

It sounds like you would benefit from a tutorial on the Quick Selection Tool and then some tips on creating and cleaning up Layer Masks.

I don’t have any tutorials to suggest, but hopefully forum users will chime in with some links.

Photoshop is a complicated application. I have been using it since 1993 and am still watching tutorials online. It is not a program that you can learn in a week. Also, there is support. You might have to wait a little, but if you can hold on, they will call you back. If you don't understand the concept of the layers you can not work with photoshop. Go on youtube and watch some of the video's... There are zillions of them. There are also videos on the Adobe site. Or look around in your surroundings if there is someone who knows a little photoshop and go talk to them... Depending on what you need PS for, you might be better off with PS his little brother Photoshop Elements. But you will have to study a little for that one too.
