Hi. If you use a lot of embedded layer groups there is this pesky problem of trying to find and move them.

If you right-click on the screen where the your item exists and choose a LAYER from the menu selection all of the groups it is nested in expand in the layer palette, revealing the LAYER, which is good.

If you right-click on the screen where the your item exists and select the layer GROUP from the menu selection nothing happens in the layers palette.

Steps to recreate the problem:
1. Create a layer named foo
2. Create a layer named bar
3. place both in a layer group called foobar
4. place group foobar in a layer group called "I own foobar"
5. collapse all layer goups
6. right-click on the screen where your layers exist. Your choices should be: foobar, foo, bar. Choose foo. The layer palette should expand all the groups and reveal foo
7. collapse all layer groups again
8. right-click on the screen where your layers exist. Your choices should be: foobar, foo, bar. Choose foobar. The layer palette should remain the same, NOT revealing that foobar is in "I own foobar".

Correct behavior: Following the steps above step 8 should expand the layer "I own foobar" and highlight "foobar", ready for moving with the Move tool or whatever.

Hi Aaron,

I see that behavior - and it looks like the behavior has been there since layer sets/groups were introduced (Pre CS moniker). We'll take a look and see if it's something we can change/improve.
