As a web developer, I would like to see copy and pasting of slices in Photoshop akin to the slice sets feature that existed in ImageReady years ago.

Hi Do you mean copy/paste a slice just like copy/paste a path?

I suppose, yes. The feature I am requesting is the ability copy the dimensions and location of a slice (or all slices in the document) from one document to another (or across layer comps). The primary purpose is to be able to copy dimensions and export settings across similar documents. This functionality is essential to the rounds-based web development workflow that many creative agencies use. The slices should be able to be copied from one document to the other. A bonus would be if multiple slice sets could be created to represent different states within the mockup.

Yeah I definitely love this idea also. I thought of this many of times as I'm slicing up a psd, and then the marketing team has changes to a product or price, so I get an updated psd from design team, and have to reslice all over again. What a waste of time, and what a help it would be!

Agreed. This would highly benefit my current process for creating newsletter emails.

I would also love this. If you have a design, say a user interface where in you need to fan out all your slices for button states or multiple size version of the same asset for mobile platforms it would be very helpful to expedite the creation of slices for the variety of same sized objects.
