Photoshop: Preview Browser for LUTs

I use lots of LUTs. I keep them well-organized, but it’s still just a long list of titles to scroll through and apply one after another. It would be a great time-saver if Photoshop had a thumbnail browser to preview the effect of each LUT. Clicking on a group of LUTs would show you the effect of each of them on the current image. This has already been implemented in Lightroom as the profile browser. I converted all my LUTs to profiles last year when this was introduced. But I greatly prefer applying LUTs in Photoshop. There, I can apply all the usual layer features, such as masking and blend modes. Some competing editors have already added this feature. Since it’s already been done in Lightroom, surely it could be added to Photoshop fairly easily.

You would think so, wouldn't you? From what I've heard,  Chris Cox was behind LUTs and LUT creation in PS and he's gone. Perhaps someone just needs to bone up on the subject—and I agree that with LUT profiles exposed in both LR and CR, Photoshop needs to modernize now, too.

This would be fantastic - I came here to post the idea myself but some one already did.  It's huge pain to individually load LUTs one at a time to review them in PS CC (OSX) and individually saving LUTs as profiles for LR isn't very useful - but at least one can preview them in the profile browser!

It might be a few more years until they implement... until then:
