When exporting files, you sometimes get a message with a list of files that could not be exported - it would be great if you could have the option to show those files in the current library view so you could easily select them and re-export them with a different file size.

I second that request. It's always a mystery why they don't export, so it's a guess on what to do. I "save" that list as text (no choice) labeled as Failed Exports and the folder name. At least I can search on those names by copying from that list as displayed in Notebook then pasted into a search by the OS searcher (Cortana) in case it was indexed.

Unreliable at best. Must be a better way than just having LR throw them out without info or process.

So it seems LR does already have this feature! When you get the error message, click on the "show in folder" button in the dialog box, and the photos that weren't exported will show in the Library module, grid view. You can then select them and re-export with a different set of specs.
