So if you don't have it backed up on a computer then are you saying your screwed.... My laptop crashed.... Dang it!
I hope not. I have never seen someone take a perfectly great app and downgrade it like Adobe did with this app... Wow there is no comparison to the original...

Delete the current version from your computer/ iPhone. Then restore your PS from your iCloud I looked for the "old icon " clicked install under previous purchases. It worked for me . Do NOT update your PS software or u will have to do this all over again.

I agree about the new version. I restored the old version but I had purchase the Effects Pack and it did not restore. When I want to use a purchased Effect I have the shopping cart icon to repurchase. How do I get the purchased effects pack on my iPhone without paying for it twice?

Hi Patrick,
Have you tried tapping on the image? in all cases except for crop this will remove most of the chrome of the app and let you see just your image. The app will also let you zoom in all the way to 1:1 even for very high resolution images.

This app is worthless. I want my old app back!! How can I get it ? Why would a company regress and give the consumer LESS ??? Very disappointed. Where is saturation contrast tint etc????? + all the other "great options" effects & frames ...... I used this app on all my pics now I have to go shopping for a new quality app.
Extremely dissatisfied I give this app a negative -5 stars. Couldn't be worse.

That didn't help. Please send the file to those who paid the Premium functions for the old Version. Or replace the new Version because it is nö Photoshop. Because of your innovative softwares I don't want to inform Apple to send us back our Money because I look forward that you will find in the next two weeks a satisfying solution for those who you surely accidentally napped.

I meant replace the old Version and offer the new one under another name. However, you see on the votings that the new app got a wrong way.

HI Alex,
While we can have two apps on the app store, in this circumstance its a bit more complicated, as Pattie explained. Apple associates in app purchases with a particular app, so creating a second app for the old version would mean that your iTunes accounts would not be recognized for in-app purchases. Likewise, if we made the new version into a second app, the thousands of users who have purchased things in the last few days would also not be recognized. Similarly, the 100k plus users who have created free and premium Revel accounts since Thursday would be stranded if we revert to an old version of the app.

We are working on adding features, and will get sharpen out as quickly as we can. We are asking for your feedback in helping us prioritize other features, and welcome your responses on our survey:

. I had down loaded the previous free version of this just before I went on vacation. I REALLY enjoyed it, so I get home and wanted to edit my vacation pics so I purchased the app. I was using it for like 5 minutes when "hey there is an update" I click "ok" , this wasnt an update it was a different product all together. CRAP !!!
Judging from the latest reviews I can say I'm not alone in my disappointment with this update. So my question to you is, since it doesn't seem likely that I will get the app I paid for, please explain why I cant get a refund? It seems fair, I get reimbursed and you dont have to leave a customer stranded.
I would rather have the great app that I was willing to pay for ,instead of a refund, but hey its your rules..

Hi Ian,

let's work on a common solution for your company and the customers. Place the "old" version under another name back to the store and I will bite in a lemmon and pay the premium in-apps once more. I think many customers would do that. So the 100 k+ can keep the new program "adobe photoshop express 3.0" and the other millions are happy to get their original App back.

Jup, i totally agree with this guy.

The only problem is that they never going to do that. because that means that they will admit that their new product is crap.
And that's not what they want.

So you either have to re-install the old version without any in-app purchases or stick with the new one and hope their next update fixes it all

I think, that Ian and his company is interested in finding a good solution for all after this desaster.
That would be a better way than loosing so many customers. Lets see, what the official side is thinking about this suggestion to place the old version under another name and those who want to work with it premium, pay once more.

Hi Sarah, what version do you have backed up? You can restore any version, the instructions were just specific to the latest version (2.7.2).

I really wish my iPad was backed up with the old version on my PC. Now I'm stuck with this new app that is total crap compared to the old one. If I wanted Instagram filters I would have downloaded Instagram! This app used to be great for professional photographers but now it's just another crap app that people can take silly selfies with. My photography biz has come to a screeching halt during the busiest time of year. I would pay for my extras again if it meant you would offer the old version back! Please bring things back to the way it was! The New clarity and noise options are NOT the same as the sharpening and reduce noise tool ... Come on adobe this was not an upgrade. This was a downgrade, major step backwards. Any idea when these features will be available again?

your right there plenty of programs with tons of filters, why have adobe followed this & taken the creativity away. im not professional but i liked to have the control over the little that i do with the photos on my phone & thats what i bought into when i bought the ps app.
