Round Fan Stiff Thin Bristle brush crashes my Photoshop software. I have unistalled and reinstalled my graphic card and Photoshop software already. My other brushes perform correctly.

What OS? Which tool is using the brush? What is the document dimensions, color mode and bit depth? Is the Brush Preview Window showing? Do other Bristle Tip brushes crash? Painting using a mouse or tablet? If tablet, what model and manufacturer?

And are you sure you've installed all the updates for Photoshop? There was a bug like that in 12.0, but it was fixed in a dot release.

Thank you both for your responses. I actually went through various stages of installing/ uninstalling, updating until I thought I should just recover my computer from a previous state I saved. When I proceeded to do this (in Windows Vista), I was asked if I wanted to try to recover drives as well. I have never seen this option before so naturally I had to try it. I recovered my graphic drive and this seems to have worked. I would never of have found this option unless I guess I was at my final end, so if others can benefit from this, I had to post my solution. Thank you again for the support, it is appreciated.

Lastly, I do not know how to change the status to "resolved" so others can see this as a possible solution...
