Upload to facebook doesnt work with windows 7 professional authorization fails with unknown error. Worked with xp professional..Facebook opens then click on complete authorization and it comes up with the error.

When did this start? 3 people reporting the same problem starting recently is a little suspicious...

I changed my machine recently and now have win 7 64bit. Before I had xp pro and no problems. Now it prepares pics asks to authorise opens Facebook login then once logged in you click complete authorisation and get error screen shown earlier.

I am seeing the same here on Vista 32 bit. This is the first time I've tried using this feature, though. I have Elements 9 fully updated. Flickr link is working ok.

There is another thread here reporting the same thing.

I have been using Elements 9 for the past month and a half, without any issues. The facebook error messages started on 9/3. I have unlinked facebook accounts, cleared the cache in Elements itself and on my computer, all without a fix. I am on windows 7.

For some obscure reason it has worked today. I don't have a clue why. It may be a Facebook problem as that is by far the most unreliable element. Thank you for taking an interest.
