I have spent a bunch of time trying to make facial recognition work. The user interface and tools need work. It recognizes faces well, matching up to correct names is inherently problematic. What it does do over just keywords is it matches a keyword to an area of a photo. Potential to use it for other purpose. maybe notes about fixing, or adjusting. there are several things I wish it did:
When exporting to FB I want it to have the option of exporting the face tags to the social media. I understand how there are many points of failure for this fuction. permission, nickname, spelling to name few.
.
When tagging the photos I want to be able to see the face that is associated with the name on other prior photos. So if I hover over a face in the unnamed area LR suggests that it is John Smith, I want some idea who it is associateing with John smith
.
LR stack similar faces, I want to do the same. You can stack after you assign the name. But in the unnamed I want to combine the same face before I know what the name is. A work around is to give it a dummy name then combine in the named area.

Is there a way to assign a keyword group to where new "people" are added. When it just adds the keyword lit gets big. I see how you Can somewhat do what I am describing using keyword filters.

Is there a way to tell LR to resort the unnamed.  I see the benifit to the lag resorting, that way as you can go down the list of unnamed LR is not changing while you scroll. But it would be nice to have a button to put all the similar faces next to eachother.
