F...... tired of Ligthroom crases almost evry time i use it

Lightroom CC crashes almost everytime I Use it.

Usually with Caching error, and  sometimes it is enough to delete the Previews.db and rootpixel.db files in the catalog library folder. 

other timers with the catalog file is corrupt. and sometime it can be repair by the repair toll but mostly I have te get the backup file.

But often I have to use my backup.

My Setop is:

Intel I7 6700K
32 GB Ram
Windows 10 Pro full updated
MotherBoard MSI H110-M PRO 
Video : MSI Nvidea Gforce GT 710 2gb ram

All drivers is  up to date 

This is very timeconsuming, ant frustrating, and I'm f...... tired of Adobe Lightroom HELP

I would suspect a problem with your hard drive or the connection to the hard drive containing the catalog and previews. Catalogs don't spontaneously combust.

I've testet the HD intensively with professional  tools, my hardware is Tip Top and bought for less than 2 moths ago, so I dont buy that explanation, But it made me aware that I have the catalog file in a GoogleDrive Syncronized folder, and that migth be the issue. so thanks any way, I will post a comment if that what the issue.

Given that there are many failure points (cache files, catalog etc), there might be some fundamental issue with your system setup. Are all the files stored on the internal hard drive? Are there external cable involved?

Another thing to check for is checking for the RAM integrity.

if there were fundamental problems with the hard driver or cables, then other things would be going wrong. So i dont think thats the issue

The google drive sync might be the problem if google drive locks the file periodically to sync and LR can't handle that.

As illogical as it sounds, you can try to put your catalog file in a different directory, or give it a different name.

How big are the files?

Hi thank you all for the input.

 I've made intensive test of CPU, RAM HDD's with SIW software, and there is no hardware issues. I'm IT pro with 30 years experience in PC's. and all my other software is running with out any problems.

I've now moved my catalog fil to a non synchronized folder, and up until now Ligthroom have been running without crashing. So it looks like Google Drive Sync was the problem.
